Incredible upgrade from what I was using. Easy to set up and go!

For years I used lower class capture cards. This thing has taken my streaming to a new level and I am so excited to be using it!

I love this device. Been using it for over a year. Mine had a weird bug where I have to unplug it and re-plug it back in before every session otherwise the audio doesn’t work. Only other annoyance I have is that the device now supports VRR BUT ONLY FOR WINDOWS. I stream on an M1 Mac…so I don’t get it. Sad to have to buy a new device in order to use it properly. Any update coming to give this to Mac users?

I have this hooked up to my PS5 on a gaming monitor and I love that I am able to retain the high refresh rate with this product. It is a budget friendly option perfect for a streamer or content creator to get those modern specs.

everything fits what the product can do many setting options and picture, sound, quality just great 1920x1080 Full HD 60 fps everything fits recordings can be made in 4k 30 fps but 1920x1080 full HD are always enough for streaming so I will stick with this resolution are just better looking and fits with 60fps and 150 for the device fits.
There are other devices for more but can not do more than this. And all times better than remote play from PS4/5

Very easy to set up and works great. I am using it with my Series X. My series x is running at 1440p 120hz while streaming/recording at 1080p 60hz.

There was some things I had to work through but does not take away from the product at all.

1: OBS would not capture the Xbox until i changed the base canvas resolution in the OBS settings to match the xbox resolution. Pretty easy fix.

2: I could not switch my monitor from Displayport to HDMI while using this capture card. The fix was to disable HDMI 2.1 support in my monitor settings. I think the capture card only being HDMI 2.0 and the monitor being HDMI 2.1 was confusing the xbox and not letting a signal come through while using the capture card and switching inputs. So it would refuse to switch to HDMI.

All is working well now.

only reasonably priced capture card that was external that could also support 120hz pass through. Use this on my xbox series s and im beyond happy with the results. The recording software is very well made but i use OBS to record instead.

I use it to stream video games. Unlike the El Gato which caused various problems. Using the AverMedia has been trouble free. If you need to capture another signal this makes it easy and the quality is high.

I recorded it on a notebook with USB 3.0! With USB 3.1, recording at 1080p and 120FPS is possible. Was also able to record 1080p at 120FPS via USB 3.0 and play games at 1440p 120FPS.
Perfect for Xbox Series X and PS5.

I use this capture card with my M1 Mac book pro and it works perfectly. The only problem is to update the firmware I have to use a separate pc for that one thing. The capture card works as advertised and I havent had issues.

I use this card with OBS and the image quality is really great. Unlike other cards, this card can also handle the 120 Hz of the PlayStation 5 and you are not forced to play at 60 FPS but can take full advantage of the 120 FPS and have a smooth and clean gaming experience. A small flaw is that there is a minimal sound delay. But this can be easily fixed by setting a separate audio input signal in OBS (HDMI of the card as audio signal) and it runs completely smoothly again. Setting up was very easy and there were no problems.
If you want to stream, you should rather use this card instead of the more well-known ones, because they usually only benefit from the name and are far below this purchased card in terms of price-performance ratio. I can really only recommend this card and I'm glad I didn't buy another one

Okay. So a huge problem Ive had in the past was an inability to use capture cards with an HDMI switch. Whenever the source changed I would have to unplug my old capture cards and plug them back in or do other crazy things like changing inputs on the tv to another input and back again. With this card it just works. No monkeying around and it looks fantastic. I love it!

Really good to have something to carry everywhere you travel. Movies quality and music is really good.

Can't recommend this product enough. My buddy bought one too to replace his El Gato HD60S and loves it as well.

I bought the GC553 and it's my first time using such a product.
When I got it I was impressed by how compact it is. This box is almost the same size as my power bank.

It's also easy to use.
This box to the PC connection, software installation and then BOOM!!! is everything there.
There are many features in the software (recentral 4) but actually the default setting suits my needs.
That's why I haven't tried this SW much yet.

The PC I use to record and store the video is quite old, around 5 or 6 years old, and this box still works fine with this old PC.
I haven't tried playing and recording videos at the same time on the same PC. Maybe in the future after trying it I'll come back and give more info.

I mainly play Metroidvania games but no FPS or racing games and I can say that there is no latency (at least from my point of view).
In my opinion GC553 is a good product and I am really satisfied with it.

A great gift for Apple users, because the Elgato could not deliver here. So I am very real that this capture card can stream my ps4.
