Awesome little capture card! Of the other USB based capture cards Ive used, this one seems to have 1:1 color and picture to whatever is going in (Nintendo Switch games look exactly how they would if I just plugged the Switch direct to my TV where other USB capture cards have dulled or incorrect color, saturation etc.), no problem with frames, it just works and works very well! I do utilize a HDMI switch for some cases but for the majority of what Im doing I can simply view a capture from MPC-HC so I dont necessarily need an HDMI out port on the card itself. Ive never hooked a camera in to this like its advertised use case but for anything else it is great, Ive even plugged my GameCube in to this and it looks great (as great as 480p can look). Ive never used the suggested software and never will since it seems totally unnecessary. For the quality and price of this Id highly recommend it.

I chose this over an elgato camlink 4k and the razer ripsaw x because it has removable cables on both ends that way I never have to worry about replacing cables, it was simple set up just plug and play no messing about and works perfect with the Sony Zv-E10. Avermedia do some great products and this is one of them.

Works perfectly. Plugged in my camera. Hooked up the capture card to my PC. Added the capture device to OBS and boom. Could see my camera's view via its hdmi output right away.

I have had so many random problems over the years with my Camlink 4K, especially around USB. They've had issues with AEGSA, there are issues with Apple (especially via Studio Display), so many random dumb things. It's the only device I've ever owned that specifically has an interface to let you tweak the USB modes.

The Live CAP BU113? Seems to work flawlessly, every single time. My only wish is that it had an option to disable the LED entirely, but otherwise it's been working great.

Its useful for me to link up my camera to my Mac.

My setup is a Panasonic GH5 hooked up to a M1 Mac Mini - have been using a Elgato Cam Link 4K for about a year, and it was always a bit temperamental - would often show a video output of just vertical green lines, requiring several pluggings/unpluggings,restarts to resolve.
This product - the AVerMedia Live Streamer Cap 4K BU113 - has so far worked flawlessly, apart from some strange half-second lag on the top half of the video output when I initially plugged it in. A restart fixed that - and the product has been working flawlessly for the past 2 weeks.

This is just as easy to use, if not easier, than the very popular USB device offered by elgato. It is also cheaper. Highly recommended.

This unit is cheaper than the Cam Link 4k, which I also purchased. The Cam Link 4k freezes after a few seconds when using a Thunderbolt 4 dock with an M1 Mac.
I can't see any difference in video quality.
This device is slightly larger than the Cam Link, but it's still quite small. I also like that it is a USB-C device rather than USB-A.

The set up with this is actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Especially compared to the one I had previously that I replaced this one with.
The picture is even better than I was hoping for. I'm really impressed with it.
I have managed to upload videos in 4k with ease and they look superb.
There's no lag when live streaming on social media. That's impressed me the most with this as it really has surpassed my expectations with this and overall really.
It's currently priced at ?86.99. Considering my previous model was ?74.99 and this one is far superior, I'd highly recommend this for only just over a tenner more.

This AVerMedia Live Streamer Cap 4K video capture card works great for streaming gameplay on YouTube, Twitch, and video recordings. Super easy to set up and use with OBS or any recording or stream software, is plug in and play, and the performance was above my expectations. The video quality and the audio are great, with no lag and no audio desync. Build quality is excellent, and the design is sleek and stylish. I highly recommend it for professional streamers, but not only.

I use this to convert my personal iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) into an extended-desktop second display from a Dell Latitude work laptop with an HDMI output port. It works perfect for my use. The lag is so small it is unnoticeable almost all the time. I use either the Mirror app or the Quick Camera app from the App Store to show the 4K feed in full screen mode at 30 fps. The unit itself so far has not overheated or glitched after several hours of continuous use, which is a recurring problem I had with cheaper HDMI capture devices in the past.

This capture card blows my old one out the water. First of all, ease of use, I have had no problems here with Windows or Linux, my old card barely worked in Linux, so I am very pleased with this. Oh I must mention if you find any problem with latency, look at where you plug into, my PC has a problem with capture when using the front USB ports but using the rear ports the 40ms is not a problem. I use this for gaming as well as with my camera, it is very versatile even with retro gaming. The face filters are good fun and face tracking works really well. Price is surprising as it doesnt cost that much more than my old one, but it is far superior. I have no hesitation in recommending this.
