Using almost a year now

Awesome little capture card! Of the other USB based capture cards Ive used, this one seems to have 1:1 color and picture to whatever is going in (Nintendo Switch games look exactly how they would if I just plugged the Switch direct to my TV where other USB capture cards have dulled or incorrect color, saturation etc.), no problem with frames, it just works and works very well! I do utilize a HDMI switch for some cases but for the majority of what Im doing I can simply view a capture from MPC-HC so I dont necessarily need an HDMI out port on the card itself. Ive never hooked a camera in to this like its advertised use case but for anything else it is great, Ive even plugged my GameCube in to this and it looks great (as great as 480p can look). Ive never used the suggested software and never will since it seems totally unnecessary. For the quality and price of this Id highly recommend it.

Great product

I chose this over an elgato camlink 4k and the razer ripsaw x because it has removable cables on both ends that way I never have to worry about replacing cables, it was simple set up just plug and play no messing about and works perfect with the Sony Zv-E10. Avermedia do some great products and this is one of them.

Just what I needed

Works perfectly. Plugged in my camera. Hooked up the capture card to my PC. Added the capture device to OBS and boom. Could see my camera's view via its hdmi output right away.

So long, Elgato Camlink 4K

I have had so many random problems over the years with my Camlink 4K, especially around USB. They've had issues with AEGSA, there are issues with Apple (especially via Studio Display), so many random dumb things. It's the only device I've ever owned that specifically has an interface to let you tweak the USB modes.

The Live CAP BU113? Seems to work flawlessly, every single time. My only wish is that it had an option to disable the LED entirely, but otherwise it's been working great.

Its useful for me to link up my camera to my Mac.
